Tallinn FoodFest 2016 participants testimonials

Saaremaa Delifood participated in the fair mainly for marketing purposes – we wished to introduce new products, and get feedback from business visitors. FoodFest gave us the opportunity to interact with the companies and business partners within this sector. We met most of the purchase managers in the Estonian retail sector at this fair. Our stall was designed to look impressive, and we had a lot of visitors.
Siiri Visnapuu, Saaremaa Delifood OÜ, Member of the Board

AS Tartu Mill participated at the fair to introduce new products to customers, and to collect feedback about what we had on offer. We met several purchasing managers, and we were pleasantly surprised that such a large number of purchasing managers visited the fair. Visitors had a positive opinion about our stall, and there were people from a wide variety of business sectors.
Aili Adamson, Tartu Mill, Sales Manager

Sanitex came to the fair to introduce new products and services, to meet existing and potential good new partners and clients. We introduced the brand Promo Cash&Carry, and the various products we import. The participation was as expected and met our goal – people showed great interest in us, and we gained quite a few new business partners from this fair. The fair visitors were interested in our stall. We had prepared a special little programme for introducing our products. The delicious snacks made by our chef, the magic cocktails made by the bartender, and the barista’s artistic coffee-making skills won the visitors’ hearts. It was a very pleasant surprise to see many visitors also from outside of Tallinn.
Hanna-Triin Sibrits, Sanitex Estonia OÜ, Marketing Manager

We came to the fair to introduce our products, Andre Farm cheeses, and to network with possible future business partners. We’ve participated in the food fair for two years. During the first year, we networked with all of those partners we had already considered for possible collaboration. During the second year, we were surprised that many people had already heard about us. Although we didn’t really network, it was definitely important to publicise our business and introduce our products also in the second year. We showed that we’ve survived, expanded out product range, and are able to provide consistently high quality. Different people visited our stall. During our first year, we had our own stall, and during our second year, we shared an area with the farm food initiative Ehtne Talutoit. People showed great interest in the products both times. We would’ve expected more networking with people involved in trade or export.
Erika Pääbus, Andre Farm OÜ, Chairman of the Board

We came to the food fair to introduce our new products – packaging, packaging equipment. The trade fair enables us to get product feedback directly from the customers. The results were as expected, there weren’t any great surprises. Our stall visitors mainly consisted of people who were interested in our products. Visitors to our stall came from all over Estonia, with many finding new and interesting packaging solutions.
Mario Reinfelt, Pakkemeister Hillman OÜ, Managing Director

To come and be seen – that was our main goal. We introduced the brands and flavours of Illy and Dammann Freres. The fair was a success for us; we acquired many new private and business customers. There were lots of business clients from the HoReCa sector, which is exactly who we were looking for at the fair. We definitely met all of our goals and then some! Our exhibition was modest, but it didn’t stop us from networking or introducing our products successfully.

Tallinn FoodFair 2015 participants testimonials

The fair was more than we expected! We aimed to introduce our existing and potential clients to new concepts and trends in the world of coffee as well as receive direct feedback. We met a lot of our clients, and got new contacts and information about the market. All in all, the fair provided us with a lot of useful feedback.
Berit Brant, Paulig Coffee Estonia AS, Marketing Manager

Our main aim was to introduce our professional equipment to our present as well as potential new customers. Our chef-trainer was there to show how the equipment works. This enabled the customers to really see and taste the foods that were prepared. We offered fair prices to those who were interested in our products. The visitors included people who were about to open their new cafeterias as well as those who needed new equipment in their existing kitchens. We received some great direct feedback at the fair.
Aneta Savason, Metos AS, Sales Specialist

The fair was organised in a manner that completely met our expectations. Our main goal was to introduce the Lindström and Comforta textile service solutions in the HoReCa sector. The food fair provided us with an opportunity to meet our existing cooperation partners and find new useful contacts that could be interested in the solutions that Lindström has to offer. The visitors were open and interested in what we had to offer. We got a lot of feedback, new experience, and a lot of motivation.
Anastasija Aksjonova, Lindström OÜ, Sales Manager

We took part in the food fair because we wanted to introduce and show our new products, get closer to the clients in the HoReCa sector, and establish new contacts. We were able to get feedback from our existing clients and receive a general understanding of how well people know the KitchenAid trademark. Our display got noticed by quite a number of visitors because our product range was colourful and varied. It was very positive that we were able to conclude several sales transactions at the fair. We also met a lot of our cooperation partners which gave us the possibility to freshen up relationships and establish new contacts. The visitors were very professional. I was positively surprised by the competent students of several vocational schools.
Erkki Vaiksaar, Home Decor OÜ, Kitchenaid Baltics, Member of the Board

As a small business we just needed to let people know that we are operating and active. We also intended to introduce our new visuals and products, and meet our long-term cooperation partners and potential new clients. We were able to fulfil all our aims and we are happy to say that people were very interested in our products. Our newest product, Evelin’s bread, was very successful and the positive feedback exceeded all our expectations.
Aivo Kanemägi, Karja pagariäri OÜ, Manager

Our main idea was to introduce PACKLAB to the Estonian foodstuff industry. At the Packaging Seminar our CEO, Ian Rooney, talked about new ideas, ways of packaging and what a crucial role packaging plays when consumers judge the brand and the quality of the product itself. It was a great experience to be at the fair as we received a lot of new interesting contacts and knowledge of the Baltic markets, which will now help us to develop and tailor our service offering to this market area. The visitors had clear aims when visiting our stand. It often surprises the decision-makers how complex packaging can be. Therefore, I consider the fair to be a good introductory platform for meeting and talking about different packaging projects.
Dick Karlsson, PACKLAB, Business Developer

Our main aim was to get a lot of new contacts, which we did. We also received visibility and were able to meet new possible business partners. It’s a great B2B channel for entering the Estonian market.
Davide Mazzotti, My Italian Food OÜ Co-Founder

As a company operating in both Retail and HoReCa segments we found the fair to be a good means of showing our products. Our main goal was to present our novelties and assortment to the existing and potential clients. There were many different people both from the HoReCa and Retail sectors interested in our products (consumers, retail chain and shop managers, cooks, restaurant owner). The fair definitely met our expectations.
Andrejs Steļmačonoks, FARM FRITES Area Manager Baltic States

We aimed to find a distributor of frozen bakery products in Estonia as well as promote our products. Not only did we find a distributor at the fair but we also established contacts with several potential customers from Scandinavia and Finland. We got real customers from the fair!
Gunta Zepa, Cannelle Bakery Export Manager

Our goal was to enter the Estonian market, introduce our products, and attract new customers. We were able to fulfil all three goals! We got noticed by several distributors and companies. At the end of the fair we were able to sign a cooperation agreement with a distributor that has a strong position in our product range (biscuits) in the Estonian market.
