Tallinn FoodFest - 7200 visitors - professionals and food lovers

The 6th Tallinn FoodFest, which was held on 25-27 October 2012, continued the tradition of organizing food fairs since 1993. FoodFest has taken place every two years since 2002.

There were 7200 visitors this year – 4500 of them were business visitors. On the last day – food lover's day – the fair was open to the general public.

By field of activity: catering and hotel business 44%, retail sale 13%, food production 9%, wholesale and import 10%, machines and equipment 2% and other 22%. 51 journalists were accredited to the exhibition. Near 300 foreign visitors went to the fair. The fair was popular among vocational schools and over 400 students and teachers visited the fair.

There were 107 exhibitors at Tallinn FoodFest 2012. The 38 foreign exhibitors came from Latvia, Lithuania, Byelorussia, Republic of Moldova, Czech Republic, Hungary, Italy and Finland. 25 companies participated in competitions or other fair events.

The next, 15th Tallinn FoodFair will be held on 30 October – 1 November 2013. In 2013 the Tallinn FoodFair will celebrate the 20th anniversary from the start in 1993.
