Tallinn FoodFair is held at the Estonian Fair Center, which is the venue for such large events. The Fair Center has enough space to receive and disperse the normal number of visitors and participants. Fair halls are spacious, up to 9 meters high and ventilated. Entrances and exits are at different places. The safety of visitors is ensured by the extensive display of disinfectants and the disinfection of surfaces.<\/p>\n
The main thing is that the fair can be considered a “controlled” event. The organizer of the event will check whether all participants and visitors have a negative test result, have recovered from COVID-19, or have completed a COVID-19 vaccination course. Such control allows the presence of up to 6000 participants indoors (Estonian government order as of 02.08.2021). Compared to previous years, trade fair visitors are attended by 1,500 to 2,500 people a day. The security service is responsible for control.<\/p>\n
When organizing Tallinn FoodFair, we have the basic knowledge that both the food industry and the catering and hospitality industry apply strict hygiene and (food) safety requirements in their daily work and what happens at the fair is nothing special, unusual. Health and safety are the norm!<\/p>\n
Considering the prevention and safety of the COVID-19 coronavirus the following safety measures have been implemented at the fair.
\n\u2022 Visitors are counted on entry and exit to ensure a normal number of attendees.
\n\u2022 Visitors enter and leave through different doors.
\n\u2022 Disinfectants are displayed visibly and with sufficient density throughout the exhibition center.
\n\u2022 Cleaning and disinfection of common areas and toilets is often done.
\n\u2022 We recommend that participants display disinfectants for visitors to use and clean the surfaces frequently.
\n\u2022 At the entrance visitors can buy masks, rubber gloves..
\n\u2022 We offer contactless payment at cash registers and at exhibitors.
\n\u2022 The use of masks and visors by the exhibitors and fair organizers is voluntary.
\n\u2022 Hygiene posters and other safety signs are visible.
\n\u2022 Ventilation and the hight of exhibition halls (up to 9 meters) improve the safety at the fair.
\n\u2022 In terms of visitor environment the Fair Center is comparable to a shopping center.
\n\u2022Healthy people and those not known to have been exposed to the virus are welcome to visit the fair.<\/p>\n
