Saaremaa Delifood participated in the fair mainly for marketing purposes – we wished to introduce new products, and get feedback from business visitors. FoodFest gave us the opportunity to interact with the companies and business partners within this sector. We met most of the purchase managers in the Estonian retail sector at this fair. Our stall was designed to look impressive, and we had a lot of visitors.

AS Tartu Mill participated at the fair to introduce new products to customers, and to collect feedback about what we had on offer. We met several purchasing managers, and we were pleasantly surprised that such a large number of purchasing managers visited the fair. Visitors had a positive opinion about our stall, and there were people from a wide variety of business sectors.

Sanitex came to the fair to introduce new products and services, to meet existing and potential good new partners and clients. We introduced the brand Promo Cash&Carry, and the various products we import. The participation was as expected and met our goal – people showed great interest in us, and we gained quite a few new business partners from this fair. The fair visitors were interested in our stall. We had prepared a special little programme for introducing our products. The delicious snacks made by our chef, the magic cocktails made by the bartender, and the barista’s artistic coffee-making skills won the visitors’ hearts. It was a very pleasant surprise to see many visitors also from outside of Tallinn.

We came to the fair to introduce our products, Andre Farm cheeses, and to network with possible future business partners. We’ve participated in the food fair for two years. During the first year, we networked with all of those partners we had already considered for possible collaboration. During the second year, we were surprised that many people had already heard about us. Although we didn’t really network, it was definitely important to publicise our business and introduce our products also in the second year. We showed that we’ve survived, expanded out product range, and are able to provide consistently high quality. Different people visited our stall. During our first year, we had our own stall, and during our second year, we shared an area with the farm food initiative Ehtne Talutoit. People showed great interest in the products both times. We would’ve expected more networking with people involved in trade or export.

We came to the food fair to introduce our new products – packaging, packaging equipment. The trade fair enables us to get product feedback directly from the customers. The results were as expected, there weren’t any great surprises. Our stall visitors mainly consisted of people who were interested in our products. Visitors to our stall came from all over Estonia, with many finding new and interesting packaging solutions.

To come and be seen – that was our main goal. We introduced the brands and flavours of Illy and Dammann Freres. The fair was a success for us; we acquired many new private and business customers. There were lots of business clients from the HoReCa sector, which is exactly who we were looking for at the fair. We definitely met all of our goals and then some! Our exhibition was modest, but it didn’t stop us from networking or introducing our products successfully.
